Communities are built on whānau, and whānau are where curiosity, confidence, and a sense of belonging are first sparked. Science Alive helps strengthen the foundations of the wider community through STEM learning that is accessible, inclusive, and relevant! By supporting educators, we empower the important kaiako who guide learning every day. By engaging tamariki, we spark curiosity, capability, and a love for learning. By involving whānau, we help learning extend beyond the classroom and into our homes and communities.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Early STEM experiences help children build curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on learning makes these subjects engaging and accessible, setting strong foundations for future learning and helping more young people see themselves as capable learners.
