April? More like A-MAZING-pril for Outreach!

Thanks to our incredible partnership with the TAIT Foundation, we've been hitting the road across Canterbury and what a ride it's been!

We kicked things off close to home -

at South New Brighton School with our planetarium dome, before pointing the van north to Amberley School where tamariki got to journey through the Solar System. They didn't just learn about the planets they got to simulate an entire year on each one in a scale model of our Solar System. (Spoiler: a year on Neptune is a long wait!)

Then we did a full 180 -

and headed south, first to Ashburton Borough School, and then even further down the road to Wahiao Downs School. This time we packed our classroom style programme 'Big Reactions: Fire & Ice' and the kids absolutely loved it! From the scientific method to spectacular experiments with liquids, solids, and gases, there were reactions happening in more ways than one.

Term 2 is fully booked

But don't worry if you missed out! We still have availability in Terms 3 and 4, and we'd love to bring the spark of scientific curiosity to your school or community. Get in touch and let's make something amazing happen!
