Genesis – School Gen with Science Alive gave away $5,000 worth of STEM prizes
Following on from last year’s giveaway
Science Alive was fortunate enough to team up with Genesis – School Gen to do it all again! Together, we were able to give away $5,000 worth of amazing STEM books, games, and science kits for teachers to use with tamariki in the classroom this year.
Science Alive is on a mission to spark curiosity
Bringing science to everybody, everywhere, every day — by empowering tomorrow’s innovators with the boundless potential of STEM through interactive, educational experiences. Sometimes all it takes is discovering an interesting fact in a book, taking part in a hands-on classroom experiment, or problem-solving and building something new alongside a classmate. This curiosity is what creates future game-changers and Science Alive are here to help support and grow that spark!
This mission aligns strongly with that of Genesis – School Gen, who also recognise the power of supporting teachers, parents, and tamariki to explore the potential of STEM. School Gen believes that “empowering and supporting kaiako (teachers) to confidently deliver STEM content is key.”
We’re confident that the winners of these packs will be laying a strong foundation for exciting and inspiring STEM learning in classrooms throughout 2026.
