Become a nanotechnician for the day and observe how nanomaterials are created.

  • See how tall you are in nanometres.
  • Nano wires are tiny wires that can conduct an electrical current. The wires are so small they can only be seen with a very powerful microscope, but how are nanowires made?
  • Are you an All Blacks fan? What's that hiding in the silver fern?
  • See if you can build a nanotube, a structure that is 100,000 times thinner than a human hair and up to 50 times stronger than steel.

Join us celebrating the technology of nano.
