The Tait Foundation has ensured equitable access to hands-on STEM learning across Canterbury through its investment in both a purpose-built outreach van and the delivery of funded outreach visits. Together, these investments remove barriers such as funding constraints, access to specialist STEM resources and knowledge, geographic barriers, and transport costs.

This investment from the Tait Foundation has expanded access and enabled early intervention, helping build pathways for young people to explore future study and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by bringing learning to them.
