Dig It

Hands-on exploration of archaeology and earth science, simulating real-world excavation challenges. This experience places students in the role of archaeologists, field scientists, or cultural historians, giving them a hands-on, problem-solving context grounded in real-world processes.

Through a mock archaeological dig, participants explore history, discovery, and scientific investigation — all while building key skills in numeracy, literacy, and critical thinking.

Designed to be adaptable for different age groups, learning needs and focus topics.

This program can be tailored for early learners, primary-aged children, or even older students with a focus on curriculum links or inquiry-based learning.

Easily tailored to suit themes such as ancient civilisations, Indigenous history, or environmental change.
