Become a sponsor of Science Alive!

Science Alive! is a charitable trust established in 1991 to provide visitors with a science-based, fun, learning environment and to encourage education through interaction with hands-on activities.

Science Alive! is currently the only science centre in New Zealand that remains independent of other museum or local authority control. Our mission statement is to promote the value of science and technology through fun and challenging experiences.

Science Alive! is largely self-funded through public admissions. It relies heavily on donations to fabricate new and exciting exhibitions and develop new education programmes.

Sponsorship options: Donations can be one-off, monthly, 6-monthly, or annually.

General sponsor ($25 - $200).

Pluto sponsor (Donation of $200-$499).

General & Pluto sponsors receive:

A number of free passes (based on your donation)
Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors list on our website
Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors list in our Interactive Area and Exhibition Gallery.

Mars sponsor (Donation of $500-$999).

Mars sponsors receive:

* A number of free passes (based on your donation).
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list on our website.
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list in our Interactive Area and Exhibition Gallery.
* An invitation to the Science Alive! sponsors' Christmas party.

Saturn sponsor (Donation of $1,000-$4,999).

Saturn sponsors receive:

* A number of free passes (based on your donation).
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list on our website.
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list in our Interactive Area and Exhibition Gallery.
* An invitation to the Science Alive! sponsors' Christmas party.
* 10% discount at Science Alive! shop.
* Invitations to all exhibition openings at Science Alive!

Jupiter sponsor (Donation of $5,000-$9,999).

Jupiter sponsors receive:

* A number of free passes (based on your donation)
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list on our website.
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list in our Interactive Area and Exhibition Gallery.
* An invitation to the Science Alive! sponsors' Christmas party.
* 10% discount at Science Alive! shop.
* Invitations to all exhibition openings at Science Alive!
* Discount of 50% on hire of function rooms at Science Alive !

The Sun sponsor (Donation of $10,000 or more).

The Sun sponsors receive:

* A number of free passes (based on your donation).
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list on our website.
* Your name (and logo if applicable) on our current sponsors' list in our Interactive Area and Exhibition Gallery.
* An invitation to the Science Alive! sponsors' Christmas party.
* 10% discount at Science Alive! shop.
* Invitations to all exhibition openings at Science Alive!
* Discount of 50% on hire of function rooms at Science Alive!
* An exclusive dinner function organised by Science Alive!
* One free function evening for your business/ organisation at Science Alive! (excludes catering).

Endowment Pledges: a donation left to Science Alive! in your last Will and Testament .

Equipment donations are also welcome, including passes, vouchers, equipment or machinery.

What your money will go towards:

Donations received will be used for specific educational purposes (for example; exhibition research and fabrication, or programme development) or for capital development (for example; renovations or equipment purchases).

Donations can be general or for specific purposes.

Donations can be made by automatic payment, cheque, or by depositing money into our donation boxes situated within Science Alive!

Any donations exceeding $25 will receive a tax receipt.
