RoboCup Junior New Zealand
RoboCup Junior is a national and international Robotics Competition open to all primary and secondary students.
Robocup is a unique event that excites and motivates students. Students form teams and develop robots to compete in one or more of the Rescue, Dance and Soccer competitions.
Christchurch RoboCup Junior Competition 2009
Planning for the 2009 Christchurch event has began with the date and venue set.
This year Selwyn House School in Merivale will be host the event on Sunday August the 9th.
Get your teams together, start planning your Dance routines, or building your Rescue Bots.
Christchurch RoboCup Junior Competition 2008
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2008 Christchurch regional Robocup Junior Competition. It was great to see the awesome entries in both the rescue and dance competitions. Congatulations to the rescue winners Selwyn House Rescue (Caroline Pearson and Georgia Canning) and Sam Butcher from Middleton Grange. The senior dance competition was won by Nick Johns from Hillmorton High School and Clementine Boyle from Selwyn House won a very close competition in the primary dance.
Well done to everyone who entered this years competition!
Congratulations to Nick Johns from Hillmorton High School who placed 2nd in the secondary dance competition at the Robocup Junior Nationals in Auckland on the 6th of September. Nick's Robo-Elton John was a hit with the crowd at Point View Primary School in Auckland.
