This hands on area is designed to amuse, entertain and educate. The Interactive Area of Science Alive! is packed with interactive exhibits that will amaze, enthrall and fascinate you while demonstrating simple scientific concepts.
Exhibitions - Currently at Science Alive! we have a selection of the best exhibits from Botanica, electricity, sound and fluids.
Try our Whispering Dishes, play our string-less harp, see our working beehive and more.
Don't forget the Slide, Gyroscope and Climbing Wall.

Experience the full effects of the earth's gravity on New Zealand's highest Vertical Slide.

Be intrigued by the amazing electrostatic Plasma Tube, and experience astronaut training on the Human Gyroscope.

- Make a crazy rhythmic beat on the Bongo Tubes, and play the instrument of your dreams on our Light Harp
Kidz Zone - Is a special area for children aged between 2-7 years. Kidz Zone area includes hands-on experiences to encourage children's natural curiosity about science and nature.
