Our programmes provide valuable hands-on learning experiences for your students through a range of equipment and interactives. Our Year 9+ programmes are closely linked to the New Zealand Science and Technology Curricula.

Robotics 2: Applied Robotics

Years 7+
Use our Lego Mindstorms equipment and Robolab software to design and build vehicles capable of sensing both light and touch . Learn important robotic skills and programming techniques and apply these to overcome application based challenges.
Key Concepts: designing and building for a specific purpose, programming, applying essential skills.
Learning Intentions

2 hours
Onsite $5.00 per student
Outreach $7.00 per student

Starlab 4 - NCEA

Years 9+
Key Concepts:earth's position in the solar system, star size and temperature, nebulae, galaxies, constellations and visible planets. This session uses our Global imagination Magic Planet digital projector to show the surface of the planets in our solar system.
