Science Alive offers a number of community programmes including Saturday Science, holiday programmes, evening groups & early childhood classes.

Saturday Science

Join in the fun with our weekend activities. Sessions are run by experienced tutors and provide exciting hands-on learning experiences for all participants. Two sessions are run each weekend to cater for six to eight year olds and nine to twelve year olds. Classes have a maximum of 25 participants.

Early Childhood

We offer Early Childhood groups three educational programmes based on Te Whariki. All programmes must be pre-booked. They are suitable for 3 to 5 year olds.

Holiday Programmes

Science Alive! offer two programmes during the school holidays

During the April and October holoidays we run electronics or engineering programmes here at Science Alive!

We also have outreach programmes were we can bring the fun to your venue.
